Upon returning from my travel in early January, I was ready to see what Helen was interested in and what she was doing these days. I think one of Kim's survival techniques was to let Helen help cook dinner. This was a great way of both distracting her from being too meddlesome, and letting Kim make dinner.
On this particular Saturday (over a week ago now), Kim decided to make some cookies and Helen was ready to help. She pushed her chair right over to the counter, and climbed right up. Climbing is one thing she is doing frequently these days. We'll turn around and find her standing on top of the table, just beaming at us. How did that happen?
Helen really enjoyed helping here. She watched very closely, and poured and stirred.

Of course, she made an appropriate amount of mess and got to wear some of her fun.
Despite what the picture implies, Helen did not actually insert or remove anything from the oven.
But she did enjoy her chocolate chip banana oats cookies!
