Holiday Lazy

We had a nice Easter yesterday. It was a beautiful, but very cold day (and it was like that all over the country, too). Kim made the comment that we are lazy about our holiday's. We don't always choose to follow all the holiday traditions. It's not that we don't enjoy them or think they are unnecessary, it is more about taking the time to decorate and prepare the easter baskets for just the two of us, for example. Oh I suppose our thriftiness precludes some of that, too. We get a certain satisfaction from not overspending on things. But with the baby arriving, we have much more incentive to do easter baskets next year.

We did give Dora an Easter day bone. She hid it in the yard and showed us exactly where it was hidden, which she is very good at doing. She had her own little Easter hunt.
